Mouthy Stitches Swap Round 2

Mouthy Stitches 2

Well after much stalking of the flickr goup and the swap mamas blogs I'm pleased to say that I'm taking part in Mouthy Stitches Round 2. It was a close run thing as places were limited to 75 this time round and we were out at a kids party when the sign ups started so I almost missed out. Thankfully I follow Cindy on Facebook and saw the sign up post when we got in so I sped over to flickr to fill in the sign up form.

Mouthy Stitches 2 Mosaic

A vital part of the swap is to post a mosaic of your favourite fabrics, colours, patterns etc to the flickr group. So this is my inspiration mosaic this time around. It seems I'm still a big fan of colour and scrappy and I'm loving the new Feather Bed pattern by Anna Maria Horner. Last time we all made a zipper pouch but this time we'll all be making a tote bag from this pattern.

I can't wait to see who my swap partner is going to be but it is a secret swap so I won't be able to tell you who I'm making for. I received a fantastic pouch last time round from Cindy  and I loved making the pouch for Laura so it's wonderful to see it appearing in some of the inspiration mosaics for this round, thank you very much folks :)

While we're on the subject of flickr how do you add a note to a photo? I'd like to leave notes as some people are doing but as yet haven't figured out how.

Bye for now

Your pouch that you made is amazing so it should be featured everywhere.

To add a note just click on actions at the top of the photo and click on add a note and Bob's your uncle.
