winnings

Hi folks :) how are you all? It's been a busy old week or so here but with the kids off for Easter not a terribly productive one on the sewing front.

I do however have some goodies to show off to you. I was incredibly lucky to win not one but two giveaways in one day, would you believe - now that's just greedy isn't it?

First up was a Basic Grey Curio Charm Pack from the lovely Fiona at Poppy Makes. She asked for help choosing between names for her oh so cute puppy which should be arriving at her house any day now. I didn't think for one minute my name would be picked by Mr Random Number Generator but was very pleased indeed when it was. I have plans for this fabric but will keep them to myself just in case the intended recipient is reading this.

Then on the same night I won a copy of Pip Lincolne's Meet me at Mike's Crafty Journal from Ali at Very Berry Handmade. I do love my craft books (no sniggers please from those who have seen my collection, yes I do need new book shelves I know as the ones I have are not looking to healthy under the strain of zillions of books - ok not zillions...but...) Also in the parcel was some Washi fabric which I absolutely love, thank you Ali.

What a lucky streak, I'm thinking I should have put some lottery numbers on that week to but pah! I didn't so no millions here yet.

So with this in mind I shall be having a giveaway sometime soon as it seems only fair. At the moment I've not worked out what it's be as to be honest as we say round here 'ma heid's mince' well not that many folk say that here really but I kind of like it. I've been busy with lots of stuff that doesn't seem to add up to very much. I've so many things I want to get done but very little spare time to do it all so my head is full to the point where I'm whirling around unable to complete anything. I think I should start using the journal I won to get some of these plans out of my head before I go pop!

One thing I have managed to get done is set up a Facebook page for The Ochil Tree at the moment I have a grand total of 14 lovely 'likers' so if you fancy popping in please do.

So that's it for now, hope you're all enjoying the somewhat erratic weather we're having just now, last week summer, this week building snowmen!

bye for now

Yay for fabulous winnings!

I totally know what you mean though, ma heid's mince right now, especially with the cold/cough/tonsillitis thing I've got going on :o(

I only just realised, after looking at your FB page, that you're from Dunblane too! Congratulations on the winnings, I love the fabrics. I was lucky enough to win a Cookiepedia book from Making Magazine this week. :) x
